August 31, 2022 - Alesund, Norway

We had an "Ålesund from Fjords to Trolls" excursion with Norway Excursions.  It was a long drive out of the city.  The first stop was Stordal village located along the northern shore of the Storfjordenfjord. We took photos there.

Next stop was a red church in Stordal.  Originally, it was for restroom stop, however, the restroom was not open at that time in the morning.

The next stop was at the breathtakingly beautiful Gudbrandsjuvet, a 5 m narrow and 20-25 m deep ravine. We walked over a bridge from one side of the ravine to the other and took many photos. And we got the chance of using the restroom.

Then, we drove through the National Park Reinheimen to the Trollstigen plateau.  It was our final destination and the highlight of this tour.  However, once we got off the bus and took a look, then we were extremely disappointed.  It was a rock cliff and was not impressive at all.  It was the least interesting excursion we had on this whole trip.

After we got back to the pier, we took a short walk to the city center to see the beautiful Art Nouveau building.  There, we took many photos.
